Excerpt from book one; Blood of the Anunnaki
(Living in her place on the
shore, week four. Angry gulls argued over clams as a sledgehammer entered my
ribs. I folded. Again.
'Marcus, keep up your
guard. Why are you letting me get through? You’re overthinking. Adjust, react,
attack,' She instructed as I knelt, holding my guts.
The beach's edge absorbed
the ocean as I staggered to my feet. Foam popped and faded on the black and
gold shore. Flutes of air escaped from hard shells over soft muscle from
beneath the sand...)
